ROYAL WHARF DEVELOPMENT – 4,000 HOMES ON THE 40 – ACRE ROYAL DOCKS SITE WITH A MIXTURE OF RETAIL, COMMERCIAL & SCHOOLS

Property group Oxley Holdings has brought up the key waterfront Royal Wharf site from Ballymore Group for £200 million.

The Singapore listed developer is looking to build more than 4,000 homes on the 40-acre Royal Docks site, along with a mixture of retails, commercial and schools.

It represents the largest mixed use site to be traded since Battersea Power Station and could become home to around 10,000 people, just three miles from Canary Wharf.

Oxley chief executive Ching Chiat Kwong said “Royal Wharf offers a blank canvas to create something very special for London.”

“It has over 500m of river frontage with a Crossrail station 1km away.”
